Does emory recruit well for investment banking?
I am an incoming freshman at Emory University, planning on majoring in finance and hopefully landing an ib job out of college. I currently have free tuition at emory due to my parents working there, but do you think it is worth transferring after a year of two to have better recruitment chances?
Emory does well with recruiting; this year students are going to a bunch of different very well known places, and we have on campus info sessions from firms like CVP, Ares, Rothschild etc
Absolutely. Target for basically all EBs, MM, and a few BB but even where its not a target its very well respected and will land you interviews. Along with IB a bunch of people landed PE at Blackrock, Blackstone, Bain cap, ares, roark, carlyle, and a bunch of others. I don't know why you would go in wanting transfer as your mindset at such a good school. You're extremely lucky to have free tuition at that caliber of a school
Thanks so much for your advice
Very solid school. Did not attend but know people who have, they’ve placed all across the street. Good luck.
