Does not getting a return offer hurt in my case?

Hey, 

I'm an FO SA at a top bank who didn't get a return offer. Part of the reason was probably due to my growing disinterest in roles with little to no wlb (most FO roles). I, however, still remain very interested in other types of financial roles (treasury/risk management specifically). I know that, generally speaking, not getting a return offer would be very damaging when going through FT recruiting for a similar/same role. However, in my case, does not getting a return offer for a FO role at my bank hurt my FT chances at landing a different type of role (MO) that likely emphasizes different skillsets?
