I received an offer from USA a few weeks ago (didn't sign). There is no virtual superday. I had 4 sets of 2-3 phone screens. Ended up speaking to 11 or 12 people and got the offer. I know several people who also received an offer earlier this month, so I'm surprised they are still recruiting especially since they only take 5-6 SAs. I guess they also turned them down.
They made me do multiple sets of "final round interviews," so be careful. 6 of my 11 or 12 calls I had were under the name of "final rounds interviews." If you've only had 5 interviews so far, my guess is that you'll have one more set of interviews after this upcoming set. One of the last few interviews will definitely be a case interview. Make sure you know how to apply the knowledge/skills you read about in those guides. If you have experience doing banking case comps, you should be fine.
In short, I turned it down because I had a better offer from another firm. USA is a decent shop in tech, but there are also many other boutiques in SF bay area with better dealflow, stronger partners, etc.
The two kids who actually signed with USA are salty after finding out a bunch turned down offers and now they're throwing MS together like there's no tomorrow lmao
