Might be true, not sure. I only know 1-2 ppl that interned/worked at Ducera and they weren't too excited about the comp, though that is a relatively small sample. GHL on the other hand is known to be pretty competitive with street comp wise (not CVP/PJT level, but they still pay well)
Will say that there are lots of rumors about Ducera having a pretty poor WL balance. Generally going to be working more than average, but paid for it as well
Comp: Ducera is a bit better but I don't know how large the difference is.
Culture: Greenhill takes this one. The culture at Ducera isn't bad or toxic from what I've heard, they just don't have great WLB
Exits: This ones tricky, and probably depends on more what you want. If you want to exit to credit or distressed its probably a wash. If you want more traditional exits Greenhill is probably the safer bet, just because those exits are more established. I don't think someone from Ducera would have a problem getting some looks from some PE funds (especially the more value oriented funds), but that being said, Greenhill will likely get you more looks/place you higher on the lists for certain firms/strategies just because the history of Exits.

Doesn’t seem remotely true. Ducera has historically paid some of the highest bonuses on the street

Can you speak to the hours, please?
sounds like xobole is a greenhill intern or first year with all this inaccurate information.
try to get your facts straight
GHL consistently sends kids to UMM/MF PE. Ducera unfortunately hasn’t yet established that reputation
The 2 exits Ik from the most recent class have been a top distressed HF and umm buyout. So exits seem fine but like you said not super established
Culture wise Greenhill is better. Exits wise Ducera is.

This is spot on. I would add that supposedly comp at Ducera is top of the street, so while GHL is known to pay well Ducera might have the edge there.
Greenhill because it’s actually pure play rx.
