DWI and Background Check

Hey guys,

I'm about to undergo a background check for my summer internship at a boutique in Houston and wanted to see what types of items are red flags. I have a DWI from 3 years ago that is on my permanent record and wanted to see if this is a non-starter for passing the background check. Can anyone advise on the subject? I haven't had a chance to disclose this information (haven't been asked), but I feel like I probably should before the check is executed. Please advise.
