EB Lateral Interview
Hey guys, I have an analyst 1 lateral interview coming up at a EB in NYC (Evercore/PJT/Moelis). I've been working at a MM industry coverage group in a non-NYC/SF office for half a year now. My group is fairly specialized and we have a completely different way of modelling and valuation, just wondering what sort of questions I should be expecting for the interview and since I'm only 6 months out of school, will the questions be more similar to a full-time interview.

They are going to try testing your core competency from the standpoint of... they aren't sending you to training and need you to fill a seat.
Assume it will be fairly technical and understand the qualitative behind the technicals and be able to speak to it and you will be fine.

I have a phone interview with an EB for a lateral analyst role in a few days. I've been in MM IBD for a year so I'm sure a lot of questions will be based around my past experience but other than that what else can I expect?
