Employer Credit Check

Hey guys, I just landed a job at an IB for a middle office job. One of the things I am expecting the employer to do is a credit check. I once had $600 charge off my credit card four years ago and now I am worried that it might get my offer rescinded. Could this be something I lose my job offer over? I paid it off just recently with the credit card company but I was told it would take 30-60 days for the credit reporting agencies to update their systems. What should I do in the mean time. Should I reach out to the employer first and explain that I had paid back already? I appreciate any advice.
