I’m currently looking at internships offered in IB in Europe mainly in Sweden for the summer of 2026. Being from the U.S. but having friends in Europe I would love the chance to spend some time there any way I can.
Does anyone have an insight into the recruiting window or app window? How does the recruiting process work? What firms should I be looking at?

Biggest question would be do you even speak an European language on a native level? Otherwise you can forget pretty much 90% of the internships in the countries where you can’t speak the language
I’m intermediate in Swedish but an upper classman did the Europe route for a post grad internship but wanted to get a second opinion from y’all- btw he didn’t speak any of the native language so it’s definitely possible
