I would personally wear suit and tie, but I could see others' opinions varying.
My thought process is that the person who sent you the interview email is probably HR, the bankers who interviewed you probably won't see that email, and I don't think anyone would be upset that you're a bit overdressed (if anyone even thinks that).
I'd say just wear a suit and tie to be safe. Business casual is the most ambiguous term anyone's ever come up with because it has a different connotation in different settings. If anything, if you wear a suit and tie, you can just take the tie off and unbutton the collar button, and you'll look pretty business casual.
