Evercore Menlo Park Healthcare SA 2024
Hey all - is anyone familiar with Evercore's Menlo Park Healthcare team? They are a small group (~20 people) so curious on the following:
What is their 2024 SA recruiting timeline - and how tough are the interviews? Do they accelerate?
How do they compare to other SF/NYC Healthcare groups (Lazard, JPM, PWP?)
I attended their Open House in the fall and have been talking to them since January. I recently did a coffee chat and have an upcoming phone screen.

Pretty sure they're a strong group, don't know too much about them though. I applied to 2024 MP HC as well — do you know if they sent out interviews already/is your phone screen is a formal interview? Thanks!
First rounds are sent out. Phone screen is formal
My classmate did first round and superdayd with them last week, said the technicals were super tough, but they liked the people a lot
Calling cap. Unless it was diversity, first rounds are thursday friday this week and super day is in person next week
They actually did do a superday last week and gave out a couple offers already
Is the phone screen the first round interview?
i have a phone screen this week with two analysts, so seems like it based on what was sad above
From diversity rounds, phone screen was alot easier than the first round in my experience. I happened to get an analyst for my call, they were pretty chill and asked stuff from the guides.
I believe I had 2 associates run my first rounds (2 45 min rounds) and they're a lot more technical heavy and they grill you on healthcare
Heard group is super lean, just filled with ex-Citigroup seniors who joined a few years ago. Apparently all the EVR folks left soon after this happened (ie, everyone from An to MD)
The juniors seem nice, but not so sure I'd want to work for the mid to seniors there if you're looking for the EVR experience

Do all ppl get two interviews for first round or those who got one has to go through a “second round” before superday
Did my first round today with them. Does anyone know when we'll hear back on Superday? They mentioned it should be Thursday next week
I was told we'll be notified of SD by Monday or Tues at latest since they're still running first rounds
Anyone have insight into how hard EVR SD techs are? The first round was brutal
