Evercore NYC ECM - Energy Transition

Hey everyone!

I am a 2nd year prepping for '24 summer now.Pretty curious about EVR NYC ECM team, especially the energy/energy transition group. Much appreciated if u can share some insights about deal flow, prospects, team size, culture/hours :)

And also, whether they recruit summers for specific groups, or just a ECM generalist. Thx!

No, theyre usually not software focused lol.

Energy transition usually falls into several buckets and coverage depends on bank: renewables, biofuels, waste to energy and bio methane, carbon capture, EVs and EV charging, energy storage, hydrogen, battery manufacturing, smart metering, services and maybe even metals and mining if it’s focused on battery metals.

I don’t know the EVR group but for an ECM role, unless it’s a private placements group, you’d probably focus on the segments which actually have publicly traded companies, which are really just renewables, some biofuels, storage and EV charging.
