Can someone enlighten me on exits from this group? I keep hearing it's a good group but how do their analysts exit compared to PJT or HL restructuring? How large is the FT class and where do they usually go?

Even more years out, you’ve got Valinor, King street, york. Recently Anchorage. Don’t think they’ve ever placed into Monarch though which is strange.
Classes are ~50% Wharton, so these exits aren't even that surprising.
Apollo only one of the two is going to the flagship PE group, KKR special sits not PE which is rebranding / winding down, also can someone factcheck Baupost? lol
The Apollo hybrid value fund seems pretty sweet (and supposedly pays the same?). Both the Expedia and Cimpress deals look like great value.
Pretty sure BX PE and Baupost placements are fake news.
If you look a few more years out, can add anchorage, WP, DK, etc to the list. Relatively small classes in the past but growing quickly
Last year's class also included Avenue, Oaktree, and TSSP.
Knew a few analysts in the group over the last few years, 1 went to Warburg, 1 went to Oaktree Special Sits, 2 to TSSP. Exits are not an issue at all from this group
