No lol. Jamie Dimon makes $30mm or more at JPM. No JPM MD is pulling that in IB.
with risk controls at banks, nobody in S&T is clearing that either.

Ok and the article uses pre GFC numbers. There’s not tons of MDs in IB earning more than $30mm
At this level I would think the most important piece of your compensation is the formula by which you're paid? You'll have up and down years but given this is a sales job you should be focused on keeping the largest % of your revenue that you can. I believe the Evercore restructuring team has a very favorable revenue split arrangement.
