Everyone I Spoke to had Good Mid Summer Reviews
Now that we are past the halfway mark in the internship, we just had the mid summer review. Overall, mine went pretty well with not much told to improve on and being told that I was “on track”. However, the other interns that I spoke to had a similar experience, though some of them said they had a lot to improve on and such.
I guess it’s a little confusing on what to expect if everyone’s getting a good review. I can’t tell if it’s just that everyone will be getting a return (at least from the interns I spoke to), or if this review is somewhat meaningless.
Do you know the typical return offer rate of your bank?
Yeah same boat. What specific feedback did you receive? I came out thinking my feedback was amazing just to learn that everyone around me had seemingly great feedback.
Remember people also lie. This girl in my group kept boasting how well her review went and ended up not getting a return.
The improvement part was smthn along the lines of needing to be more thorough with formatting at start of internship, but I had supposedly fixed that already, so they said there rly wasn’t much I needed to change and to keep it up basically.
For the strengths it was p generic in that I produced high quality work and was strong technically.
