Excel 2007 Question

Running through model that has a sheet which needs to be protected. However, there are hidden rows that I would like for the other user to be able to toggle (unhide, hide) with that [+] button. How can I allow him to do this while the sheet is protected?

Tried Ctrl+1, P to see if I can unlock that row but it doesn't seem to work. Monkeys, any tips?

Thanks.

did you try unprotecting the whole sheet, grouping, and then protecting again?

I recall having this issue with Excel 2002/XP and I believe back then this was simply impossible to do - it was not one of the options. I think I recall this changed from 2003 to 2007. But the entire group/ungroup thing is still not fully integrated into Excel - seems like a last-minute add-on. I dont think that VBA can press that +/- button for example.
