Excel Question
How do I make negative numbers automatically and always in parentheses as opposed to having a negative symbol? I have macaques and was wondering if there was a configuration for this? I know there is a number cycle to do this quickly, but wondering if I can make it the default for negative values to stated in () as opposed to " - #."Also is there a custom for this that can be set as default? This is for DCF, M&A, LBO stuff. Thank you.

Format cells->Custom. #,##0;Red

Just change format to accounting. Shortcut is also alt, h, n, accounting
