Excel Question - Link different workbook
Want to link from different workbook, into consecutive annual columns, when source is set up in monthly columns with annuals 12 apart.

do offset(source,0,((column($A$1)-column(A$1))*12), this means that every time you drag it one cell right it will be grabbing 12 cells right in the source.

Well, still having trouble when dragging to the right.
What's the problem? Might have to make this in to an indirect.
Oh snap, switch the 12 to -12, that'll give you the right number.
When I drag it to the right it's just returning the next number over from the source. What should be my first number in there that you labeled "source"?
it should be the cell address of the first annual number you want to grab from the other sheet... a link to the #. then when you drag the formula right, for every cell to the right of that it should grab the next number in that other workbook 12 columns over..
What if I have semestral revenues, but I want to calculate yearly revenues in another tab. I also need to drag a formula, but I couldn't find the right combination of offset.
It's basically the same exact problem as OP, but with two cells rather than 12. Can someone help out?
