In a nut shell, we input important financial data into a sheet and link the data to different sheets that performs calculations (Weighted Average Cost of Capital for ex.), then link these results to other calculations in other sheets etc. Basically creating a model, where if you change the initial input, then everything linked to the input will change accordingly.

It's like the best software program ever invented on earth.

 

Excel really is limited by your creativity and curiosity...anyone know how or in what way Vista/Longhorn/whatever is going to change excel in any significant way?
