Factset vs CapIQ

Hi All,

My team is looking to switch data providers and are considering between Factset and CapIQ. I only have experience with Factset so I'm keen to hear from people in banking who have had recent experience on both platforms.

Which one is better? Any comments / colour you can provide in terms of the below features would be greatly appreciated.

1. User-interface

2. Fundamental data, estimates

3. Real-time market data / news

4. Broker Research

5. Screening Tool (trading and transaction comps)

6. Excel plugin & coding

7. Access from any device (computers, mobiles, remote browsers)

8. Best templates

Thank you!
