Failed to break into IB. What next?

To keep it short, I go to a top target and was rejected from most SA24 roles. I had a couple of SDs and a bunch of 1Rs and nothing worked out. There's definitely something wrong with me. I don't want to waste my time dwelling on these rejections and I was wondering what other roles I should look at over the summer/early fall.

You should "dwell on the rejections" and reflect on what you did wrong, because your chance of landing an offer should increase by am exponent each SD. Fix your deficiency rather than just applying for something else and then making the same mistakes over and over.

Do that and try again next year.

I get it and you’re right, but next recruitment cycle one would be in their junior year, would they still be able to land internships designed for 2026 class or is at that point full time applications. Would love to hear your thoughts
