Do you have a specific group/bank you’re interested in? I think it really varies by group/bank in the sense that energy might be male dominated at one bank and women dominated at another. That said in my experience, senior women are almost always willing to help out/mentor junior women, even if they aren’t in the same group. I’ve also found that alumni will often mentor across banks.

I recruited for ecm and found most banks had a lot of women, although some were still male dominated at the top. I know head of JPM m&a is a woman. I think your best bet is to look on LinkedIn or ask people in your network. Seems like at the junior level, it’s 50-50 but the women all congregate together in the same groups.
