Ferragamos on a first year analyst
I was wondering if it would be frowned upon to wear some Ferragamo sleds as a first-year analyst

Career Resources
No one cares. I will say, when I see an AN1 wearing fancy shoes I chuckle to myself knowing they spent a ton of money without receiving their first bonus. It makes me question their priorities.
Ferragamos are ugly buy loro or tod's (wear what you want theyre just shoes)
I would judge you, but not for the reason you might think. I'd judge you because they're not very good shoes so I'd just assume you bought them because you heard they were 'designer'. but in all seriousness, no one really cares unless the shoes themselves are very flashy in terms of colour or style.
I'd judge the heck out of you for not going with the clearly superior Gucci bit loafers!
But seriously, no one cares at all. It's only a pair of shoes worth a couple hundred dollars. One months worth of savings is enough to grab a pair. Regardless I used to work under an Analyst who was a crazy rich Asian and collected / wore vintage Rolexes. No one was hating on it at all, we all liked checking out his pieces, he'd wear a cool one each Friday. You might bond with some fellow bankers who have a taste for fine leather products.
