FGLI - Seeking Guidance

Got an Asset & Wealth Management Summer Analyst position at BB - pay is around $70k.

Context for post: FGLI International student from a third world country at a target school, last seven years of HS/college on scholarship/financial aid, have a family of four to support (all on government aid/living in government housing). Wanted guidance on how to internally rotate to a higher paying position so I can provide for my family easily (interested in S&T/IB or any AWM position with higher pay). Three questions:

  • Any advice on how to make the most of the Summer Internship and secure a return offer?
  • Any skills I should learn/resources you'd recommend I review before this summer?
  • How to internally hire for a higher-paying position in S&T/IB/AWM?

Would genuinely appreciate any insight/advice, thank you!
