Currently undergoing placement process and wondering what people think about FIG? I’ve heard exit opps aren’t good but would love some more insight

Depends on firm. That said if your firm's FIG team participates in group placements instead of doing direct hires than it probably is not a great fig team unless you are JPM. It doesnt pigeonhole you as much as you think unless you are only doing banks deals. Financial services is a big area for PE
any thoughts on DB FIG?
Huge growth area for the bank don’t know if it has paid off yet. One fintech MD is doing really well right now.
