What are legit FIG exit opportunities? If you are unable to secure a PE exit would it be possible to spin into a PC or VC exit?

A lot of sponsors do invest in FIG. It doesn’t pigeonhole you as much as ppl say. That said if ur doing only balance sheet deals for 2 years it might be hard to pivot
But the exit ops is into a buyside FIG vertical, correct?
Ive seen GS FIG -> HC PE before. Would echo comments below as not every FIG groups are the same. GS FIG can go any where whereas UBS FIG ur prob doing FIG PE
Depends on the firm you're doing FIG at. Know JPM FIG has had several HF exits recently, GA takes FIG bankers for their financial services group, etc.
What about for a generalist role?
I’m sure there are generalist exits across MM/UMM. Generalist at a MF might be tough unless you’re coming from GS FIG.
