I'm interning at a boutique in Europe and about to graduate from a M.Sc. in Finance, I thought it could be of interest to find some sort of certification for my Excel skills. What do you guys think? Anyone has experience in that domain? I googled the thing but most of results looks like scam...

Ok I read about BIWS and all... just wondering about the credibility of such certificate.
I would not recommend doing that as no one in the industry will be impressed with this type of certificate. Your time would be better spent improving your understanding of modeling, accounting, valuation, etc. so that you can show you know what you're talking about in an interview.
Thanks MD8! I understand totally your point, but would not it be a way to show off skill? Plus I believe the package itself brings lots of knowledge on modelling, valuation and all?
It's one of those things where even if you had the certificate, it could do more harm than good to highlight it...
Take a BIWS course, but dont talk about getting a certificate

I am preparing for CFA level 1, but also thinking of this certification .I am putting 25 hours per week for my CFA study...any pointers on prerequisite and time required for this certification...
Also, Which section of CFA level 1 can be done along with this certification..
