FinTech to IB Transition

Soliciting advice / mentorship on transitioning from FinTech to IB. Went to a state school undergrad and not a prestigious MBA program, albeit graduated both summa cum laude. I’ve got my SIE, 7, 63, and 24, just need my 79. I just passed CFA Lvl 2 >90th percentile, and plan on taking Lvl 3 in Feb ‘24. Graduated undergrad May 2020, MBA December 2022 and worked at two top broker-dealers and my main body of work is program management (from cradle-to-grave). Also have 7yrs of Army Reserve leadership experience for whatever that’s worth.

I understand I’m non-traditional and off-cycle, but hoping for some guidance on how realistic an IB move is, if I should go for Analyst or Assoc leveling, and any suggested firms that are open to candidates like me. Thanks much for the help! 🙏
