Fired - what should I say on interviews
hey guys.. a banking analyst (w/ 10 months experience) here and got fired for sending materials to personal device (for my own review, not for external share, didn't cause client loss)...
- I'm on good terms with my previous group
- Confirmed with HR that only employment dates would appear on my record
- I'm not FINRA registered (so no U5 record)
Can I still make it back to banking? What should I say on interviews as Im looking for next banking job? Would it be a red line for large financial institutes like the BBs?
... Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I wouldn’t care that you did this so long as your references came back strong, you expressed remorse, and provided reasonable evidence of why it wouldn’t happen again. Someone might have better advice but I’m sure you’ll bounce back from this.
