First year IB associate base comp
What are most middle market ib associates making in year 1?
Received an offer from a notable middle market firm in NYC for a IB associate lateral with a base of $130. (think RBC, HSBC, Jefferies, HW, Baird, Gugg, etc..)
Not sure about MM, but most BBs increased their stub Associate base to $150. I know for a fact that Baird and Guggenheim should be higher, not sure about the others you listed
Second this, Baird is 175k, Guggenheim is either 150k or 160k from last summer (my memory is failing me)
So basically, it's RBC, HSBC or Jefferies?
RBC and jefferies at 150, so definitely HSBC
Have a friend at HSBC told me comp is 150 so maybe HW?
hmm surprised hsbc is 150 but HW is possible too
