You guys handle recruiting and then think you can ask for help which we all VPs have to all do (my ppt skills are rusty) on all our live assignments? Then as my wife is waiting for me to get dinnner with her go to VDR happy hours being totally unresponsive until the afternoon and missing calls?l the next day. Don’t even try to come up with some bs excuse. No more of that. Don’t trust you one bit. Don’t blame other analysts associates to cover your ego too. Even worse.
Learn to improve and get better. We have ~7+ years of experience and shouldn’t be doing all the work for you little scumbags (excuse language); associates need to really start checking work correctly too and training these zero add value hot shots. Quality of work is unacceptable.

You seem to lack the maturity to actually run a team. A rant on WSO is about the least effective way to change anything.
You run your team and they aren’t good? Either develop them or get rid of them, ultimately the team is a reflection of the leadership, which includes you. Yes there are bad employees, but to also get all upset because they have recruiting commitments? That’s petty. Also, you know it’s happening, just plan around it.
