“I had a very positive experience with my mentor and I am truly grateful for the time, support, and guidance they provided throughout our sessions. From the very beginning, my mentor was extremely kind, approachable, and available, which made it easy to communicate openly, ask questions, and discuss both my goals and uncertainties about the next steps in my career.
One of the most valuable parts of the mentoring experience was the work we did together on my LinkedIn profile. We essentially rebuilt and improved it from scratch, carefully going through my previous experiences, skills, and achievements and discussing how to present them in a clearer and more effective way. My mentor helped me understand how important it is to have a strong and well-structured LinkedIn profile and how to use it to communicate my strengths, professional interests, and career goals. The feedback and practical suggestions I received were extremely useful, and I now feel much more confident about how I present myself professionally online.
Beyond my LinkedIn profile, I particularly appreciated the practical tips and honest advice my mentor shared with me about how to approach the next steps in my career. The guidance was not limited to improving my online presence, but also helped me think more strategically about where I want to go and how I can get there. I received valuable suggestions on how to position myself, what aspects of my profile to focus on, and how to approach future opportunities more effectively.
Another aspect I appreciated was my mentor’s willingness to listen and adapt the conversations to my specific needs. I never felt that the sessions were generic or simply followed a predefined structure. Instead, the discussions were tailored to my situation, which made the advice much more relevant and actionable. My mentor was patient when explaining things, encouraging when I had doubts, and constructive when pointing out areas where I could improve.
Overall, this mentoring experience gave me both practical tools and greater confidence in taking the next steps in my professional journey. I came away with a significantly improved LinkedIn profile, a clearer understanding of how to communicate my experience and strengths, and a better idea of how to approach my future career development.
I would definitely recommend this mentor to anyone looking for someone who is supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping others grow. Their kindness, availability, and practical approach made the experience extremely valuable, and I am very grateful for all the time and effort they dedicated to helping me.”
Pop that pu$$y.
What's the game plan if she doesn't get the job, chief?
If you want to run a casting couch, make sure you are running the casting.
who gives a shit if she doesn't get the job? just smash that shit
I wouldn't do it. If you have to ask on a message board, I think the answer is pretty clear.
Smash her and then don't pass it. She is trying to manipulate you, make her feel like dirt.
Tell her your nickname is popsicles, she'll do the rest.
pics or it didn't happen
You need to ask? Tap that...
destroy dat a$$ and don't pass on the resume (or, if you're beta, don't tap dat and pass on the resume)
The only downside would be if she were to not get the job and then sue you claiming you "promised" a position in exchange for favors. If you're okay with this risk -- I don't see the problem with proceeding assuming she is qualified and you were going to pass on the resume anyways. Try to keep some sort of documentation of your exchanges -- maybe even drop in an email with "I can't promise anything but I'll certainly pass along your resume to the appropriate people."
If you bang her, make sure you pass on her resume.
Tell her the level to which you will support her application will be correlated to the fervor with which she shows her dedication to making you happy...that should make the picture pretty clear for her.
^ LOL do that.
I once slept with a girl who i met because she was trying to network and i didnt feel bad about it at all....just be honest about it and make sure she knows this has nothing to do with finance or her job search. Bottom line is that if she is mature/smart enough to understand the concept of networking then she is certainly competent to make her own decision about whether she wants to have sex with you you so I wouldnt feel bad about it. There is nothing immoral about hooking up with girls you meet professionally unless your firm has specific rules about it.
On the other side of it, I have also been rejected by a junior girl who was being really flirty because she thought it would help her career. After she stuffed me it ended up being something that was no big deal and that we joked about...so just dont be a bitter ahole if she dosent really want to hook up with you. I kind of expect girls to use their sexuality to their advantage and so if a girl gives me a "false signal" and i try to act on it and get rejected I do not get pissed.
...also if you sleep with her and she has a good time the resume thing will be meaningless. Good sex is way more important to a girl then a job 99.9% of the time. Afterward, you can tell her you never even looked at her resume and she wont care as long as the sex was good.
...or when she asks for a towel, tissue, etc. just hand her the resume
haha that's a good move. Actually when this happened to me the last work-related conversation i had with the girl was in the last email before we met. When i showed up and saw that she was hot I just proceeded to talk to her like she was a regular girl and this meeting had nothing to do with work. We ended up hooking up that night and many times after that and I dont think i ever even saw her resume. Like two months later she told me she got a job and i congratulated her.
Congratulated her in the Biblical sense or...
ok sorry I'll stop
I got my first internship at a BB by banging a 40 yr old VP milf. Now I got my sights set on a 35 yr old PE partner chick to land a new Job. Nothing wrong with what you are doing unless there is a double standard in this world and since there isn't. TAP THAT!!
Strictly from the perspective of economics, the person who gets his/her offer via this "networking" method would tend to end up in a position/profession that is not the best fit for him/her and in the long run would be miserable in his/her chosen career.
Or like weezy once said "tony said this world is ours and the bible said every girl is sour; don't play in her garden and don't smell her flower"
PIITB
Ditto Warhead, Pop That Pooper
bondarb sounds like a complete asshole.
haha...whatever. The girl in question was mature enough to make her own decisions and we are still friends so she doesn't think I am an asshole. I will repeat what i said above that for the vast majority of women a fun relationship is way more valuable and worthwhile then an informational interview with a boring hedge fund employee.
Id choose guaranteed hf job over casual relationship with v. attractive chick any day. but thats probably cause money--> women but not the other way round
