Following Up With Unresponsive Management Team

Hi guys, for context I’m a first year analyst in the healthcare group at a BB in NY

A few weeks ago my MD had me send out calendar invites to management for a meeting with a large health insurance provider(United Healthcare) to discuss potential M&A opportunities. The meeting is supposed to be this week, but the CEO has not yet accepted my calendar invite.

I know he’s obviously extremely busy, but what would be an appropriate follow up time? I don’t want to be a pest, but I haven’t heard from him since last Monday and we need to know if he’ll be attending.

I know he’s very busy, but honestly it’s a little annoying he can’t take the time to respond to a calendar invite
