Freshman Summer Internship Help?
I am a freshman at a non-target state school near NYC ( though students have made it to IB, S&T, HF, and PE), and I'm having a lot of trouble finding a summer internship opportunity. I applied to many of the opportunities on Handshake, but they are mostly looking for sophomores or juniors. I also have been networking heavily and cold-emailing local firms, but I can't seem to get anything, and the window for getting a summer internship is closing. I am feeling pretty hopeless; what else can I do?
