From SME M&A to MM and BB IB?

Hey Everyone I recently finished my master’s in Europe and I will be starting a trainee program at an SME advisory boutique (250 - 500 M€ deal volume per year). The program is 18 months long, 9 months in Corporate finance & Valuation team and 9 months in M&A Advisory team. I currently have 6 months experience in Corporate Finance/Valuation and 5 months in Corporate M&A. My question is: Do I have a shot in the upcoming 12 to 18 months to get into an MM or BB shop? From my profile PoV. Additional info: I attended top BS and got good grades, I couldn’t secure an IB internship in the past cause my knowledge of the local language wasn’t strong enough. Nowadays I get rejected from lots of internships based on a “Fair Company Policy”, which states that graduates cannot get an internships on these companies.
