FT Partners offer, Should I take it?

Received an AN1 offer from FT Partners and I can’t lie the salary is enticing. I know FTP gets a lot of hate on here for the WLB and culture, but is it really as bad as everyone says? Can anyone at FTP comment on this topic in an unbiased manner? Are the horror stories true lol

My roommate works there. They pay an absurdly high base, yeah, but their bonus structure is fked up, you only get part of it after year 1 and the remainder is deferred till years 2 and 3.

I won't say too much on culture since there's a lot on here but just be ready to deal with a toxic work environment should you join.

If it's your only offer I'd take it but just know what you're getting into.

It's strange because everyone I know (7 people) who works and or interned at FTP is incredibly competent yet their exits aren't great.

I'd take it if you had nothing else, but be warned that the business model is absolutely sweatshop oriented.

Don’t take it if there’s another offer.

If itz you’re only offer, you’ll get great experience and reps……

Juniors are bomb and there isn’t backstabbing or hyper flexing with the juniors. The seniors are vying for the founder’s acceptance……HR doesn’t care about employees and only protects the founder……..nobody can stand up to the ceo or tell him what’s really wrong with FT so nothing will change.

my friend works at ft partners ~ your work is EXTREMELY based on the analyst you get. you can either work 30 hours a week or 120, there's no in between. also they're rolling down base from 140k to 110k due to low deal flow they havent closed jack shit

How do you tell people that they're going to get paid 110k instead of 140k?
