FT recruiting status

Are people getting offers? What’s the general industry status? Not sure as I don’t have a lot of friends in IB — trying to recruit full time but everything is really dry at the moment. Not sure if I just missed out on this cycle totally, what have others been seeing? For context, I am an IB intern who did not get a return. Just wanted to check on how others are doing etc.

I agree. Interned on buyside and we had a very small intern class but no offers. I know really talented people who interned at top buyside firms insight/GA/Vista with no returns. I think certain banks did very well 90%+ while others did quite poorly. I don't know if others feel the same but feels like a lot of firms are running processes where you had to be in the know to even be in. Especially during summer. Feeling like I'm missing out and agree that things look quite dry, anyone else recruting for this cycle and feeling the same?

How are you guys navigating IB recruitment? I interned on buyside but have trouble getting past resume screens bc of limited exposure to IB

Adding to the above, interned at a FAANG company under Strategic Finance. Typically, profile of similar candidates in the past at least got interviews, its been dry for me. Lets hope things change or hope for the best for lateral recruiting.
