If this is the IBD of FTI consulting I think I interviewed with them early 2019 maybe. Seemed to mainly do cap markets stuff and a little bit of m&a. I think the thesis is that they get good deal flow from the consultants (I think strong in RX) and generally the consultants there would pass deal flow to the Moelis’ of the world. Therefore, they set up this internal IBD to capitalize and monetize some of that deal flow themselves. But they are still kinda consulting minded in terms of focused on putting in their hours as a way to get paid as opposed to getting deals done and earning deal closure fees. But just my thoughts based on limited memory and experience and knowledge if this is actually who you are asking about right now
