Full-Time Interviews After Completing A Summer Internship

Do interviews change dramatically if a firm sees that you have an ibanking internship under your belt? Would the questions be a lot more technical or instead would they be more interested in your fit with the company? I'm worried that I may get grilled with some really tough technical Q's.

Thanks in advance.

cmon guys......im just about to start prepping for interviews and I really wanna figure out how to allocate my time.

they will ask you a lot of questions about what you did over the summer and what you learned.... be able to talk about the models you worked on, the deals you worked on, what the group did, etc. Did you get a full time offer. if not, why? if so,why do you want to join this group? might have you make a few models or take a quick modeling test.

so I did get a full-time offer...I hope that will help out. At the same time however, the tasks I did weren't extremely intensive when it came to modelling and valuations. I worked in healthcare and did 1 extensive DCF and some comparables. Alot of my time was actually spent on side projects like special reports on the industry outlook and deals completed in the sector. Would they be equally interested in that and is it a disadvantage in any way?

they will not expect too much in terms of modeling skills...these banks also have interns and they know that most of the work they do is BS anyways.

most of their questions will be "fit" (they know you are capable of the work because you got an offer). why didn't you accept your offer right away? what didn't you like about your old group? do you think we are any different? and more questions along those lines.

may have a few technical questions still, however.

After my summer internship this summer, I was offered a full time position as an analyst at my I-Bank. In my case, I had from the beginning of August to around mid-November to accept. But the longer I took, the less my signing bonus was going to be. Needless to say, I accepted the offer on the spot.
