Does anyone have advice on the do's and don't while navigating each new phase while creating a fund? So far I have been using podcast to quickly educate myself by listing to people that have been through the same thing.

You should check out www.searchfunder.com. It is a search fund forum. You'll probably get better answers than you would on here.
+1 on the Searchfunder.com comment. The search fund community is pretty small so the odds of you finding someone knowledgeable about raising a fund on here are gonna be small. I’d recommend just reaching out to current search funders.... almost every one I’ve met loves to talk about their experience and give pointers on every stage of the process.

I would start with family offices. They will be the best capital for this type of thing.
