Give Your Business Card at the Interview?

Hi guys,

Do you think it's preferrable for experienced hires to present his/her current business card when they are interviewing with another firm? I guess in a way, this can be a little cocky move if the company you are currently working is larger/better but again, this can be used as a marketing tool to make yourself more appealing. Any thoughts?

Your contact information (hopefully not your work contact info) should all be on your resume. No need to exchange business cards unless it's specifically asked for which I don't see happening. When he gives you his just make it noted that your contact info is on your resume.

If you're going to get fired if they contact you at work, why on earth would you think about giving them your work contact info.

I certianly wouldnt want to put myself in precarious situation at work, that said, I suppose I was questioning formality. In the context of analyst/associate interviews, is it normal for the interviewee to exchange business cards with the inteviewer? Seems silly as your intention in interviewing is to leave your current employer.

Additional insight is welcome. Again, thank you.
