I recently got invited to a superday for FWS analyst at GS. Does anyone have any information on this group? Prestige/exit opps/type of work? Thanks in advance

It’s their corporate strategy group. You’ll be doing a mix of Corp strategy, Corp dev, Corp VC, etc…
In a corporate level role like this, it’s not the team’s prestige that matters. It is the company’s prestige.
Exit opps will vary wildly, but many people will just move into a business management type role (ie working under the head of one of GS’s business units). Business schools love Corp strategy people too.
If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't comp be at a significant discount to the IBD since Corporate Development isn't a revenue generator? Assuming that Firmwide Strategy Comp & Work-Life-Balance would be very similar to that of another F500 Corp Dev/Strategy role
