Received a Summer Analyst offer from GS for $55k prorated plus $2500 relocation. This is for a wealth management role. Is this compensation similar to full-time salaries?

Dude, This is not like a private bank role, from what I can tell its more like a back office role. Seems a little low for NY but honestly about right.
What role within CWM?

Is that within the Asset Management group?
Don't get me wrong, I'm so thankful for the offer. However, if this is indicative of full-time salaries, I'm not so sure I could take a full-time offer if that were on the table.

I’m also on an AIMS investing team this summer but not PE. Have been trying to find out more about comp for full time but with no luck. How much conviction do you have in 110k number?
I don’t think it’s 110k bc that’s what IB full-time just got raised to, none of the other divisions got any money
They must have discounted ‘23 SA offers. I can believe CWM may be lower because it’s tied to Ayco. AIMS definitely should be prorated way higher. Haven’t heard numbers that low for ‘22 SA except in operations.
Everything other than IB and S&T seems to be $50k-$60k prorated
Honestly not a bad move for company to trim some expenses here and there; if you’re not revenue generating, there’s easily an argument to be had you don’t need to be paying pro-rated FT salaries at 100% pay to interns who may leave, especially when you could fill the seat FT anyway.
