Goldman Sachs SuperDay Dilemma

There was an information session last week and 1st round interviews the following day. The interview went fairly well in my opinion but since last week i havent heard anything from them. Well, today is superday or 2nd round interviews and it sucks to know this fact after having to wait for days for HCM to get back to me. Of course i followed up with my interviewer and HCM and all they said was that they will follow up with me early this week which hasnt happened at all. Obviously, im hopeless at this point. But does GS usually do this? Have people left hanging? Its not like they have to contact hundreds of kids, its only a handful who havent made it to 2nd round. Its really frustrating to be in my shoes.

Anyways thanks for reading. I just had to let it out.

It's sort of on the candidate to follow up based on the specified (if unclear) timeframe. That said, I think it's fair to say that GS plays more games with applicants than other groups.

soccrkid8GS legally says they won't give any advice.

That doesn't mean you can't (or shouldn't) ask. It's a good excuse to send the email.

It it makes you feel any better, I had a friend who got into GS after 3 weeks of placed on hold. What he did do was followup every week and a half. Do that and hope for best!

& seville, they can be dicks. it sucks, i know
