GPA check

Got a full time offer for IB thanks to good performance in the internship. When I signed the papers I was asked my current GPA and I put the GPA as the one I have from my exam grades, plus pro-rata what I have on the thesis progress (i.e., I already received 25% of the final grade of the thesis and included that grade as well in the calculation, weighted by 25%). So I reported a GPA of x.4. The thing is, the ranking (which includes GPA) at my school is calculated once a year before the thesis grade is awarded, as people graduate in different periods; it shows my GPA as x.33. Also, the transcript of grades (a different document, which includes the thesis grade) definitely does not report partial grades, although I can back them up with evidence; note that I was not required to submit the transcript. Also, I will receive my full thesis grade soon, which will show up on the updated transcript, and it is expected to boost my GPA to the mark I reported or higher.

I will have my background check months from now, although I am not sure if they'll ask the school for my GPA and if so, what answers they are going to receive (with or without the full thesis grade). Note that technically I did not lie, cause I did receive that 25% already and weighted it appropriately. Also, I did not show any GPA when I recruited. Still, I am always paranoid and was required a CV and education info including GPA by HR after receiving the offer. This is for Europe btw. I should specify this is not an American GPA so both values are above the threshold, no real advantage gained from it (which makes my choice even more stupid, I know...).

Do you think I'll have problems?

not sure about your situation but at my American bank I started at a couple years ago, they did the background check and then asked me to send them my transcript...on my resume I said I had a 3.9, but my gpa dropped to a 3.8, didn't seem like anyone in HR cared
