GPA Cut-Offs for Target - SA IB 2027

HYP '28 looking to break into IB as an int.

Got slammed soph fall from difficult classes + mismanaged time, dropped to 3.63

Been hearing that GPA cutoffs increasing YOY, Lazard's Insight Day had a min of 3.7

Likelihood of any BB/EBs calling without strong networking?

I was trolling a bit but your case is still sensitive. I would round up my gpa to 3.7 for the cutoff, network hard, and see. The only thing you need is to make it to the superday.

IF you get the offer and they ask for your transcripts just send them and don't say anything. If HR calls asking for clarification, just say you were a bit generous when rounding up that gpa, it happens and as you have 3.63, it's not like you turned a 3.1 into a 3.7 . If nobody calls, you're good.

They're not gonna rescind your offer for a 0.07 approximation

im gonna be real i also had a 3.63 and got sds at jpm, rbc, and wf, ended up signing with one of them. i did round it to a 3.7 tho cuz i knew id get it up to a 3.7 at the end of the sem and i did so. would say 3.7 is the place to be, but in good faith i cant tell u to do what i did - just food for thought. this was sa26.

no for my specific bank they havent , dont know what its like at other banks. i have not been asked for my transcript yet but i also am yet to have undergone any sort of background check so not sure if they'll ask but i heard for my bank they dont
