Group-specific Questions to ask HR Recruiter

Hey all, I was given the opportunity to ask an HR recruiter covering a Financial Sponsors group at a UMM bank some questions. It's for a FT analyst opening starting in June/July. After doing some digging on similar WSO discussions and asking friends in the industry, here's what I came up with. I wanted to avoid asking questions that are too technical and group specific. Please let me know if these are utter dog****, cringe, presumptuous, off-base, or any other unpalatable description. No hard feelings; honest answers appreciated.

- At a high level, can you tell me roughly what the anticipated interview process and timeline will look like?

- Is the opening similar to programs with a set two-year timeframe, and are there opportunities to progress to the associate level for someone interested in a long-term career with the bank?

- Perhaps a little about the current team members’ backgrounds, and if they would be receptive to someone with a less traditional background, like a candidate with Sponsor and off-cycle Banking internship experience as opposed to summer analyst training?

- Would you describe the team structure as relatively flat with opportunities to take on additional responsibility across the deal process?

- Is the team currently experiencing growth that has outstripped its capacity, spurring the need for an additional analyst?

- Does the Financial Sponsors team own the transaction, or where do they sit in relation to the M&A and LevFin teams on a deal?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, as this is a group I am really interested in. Also, please let me know if this is too many questions. I obviously don't want to bombard them, as I imagine that's a huge turnoff
