I would probably highlight Qatalyst (M&A), GS SF TMT (M&A/ECM), and MS Menlo (ECM) - These tend to get the coolest deals, which for the most part are in the tech ecosystem (no offense to other sectors...)

Other groups with interesting deals are firms like Raine, Allen & Co, or LionTree. They tend to work on unique deals along with "traditional" M&A in a space that is quite cool imo (entertainment/sports/media). Probably can throw Moelis LA here as well

This might be different when you’re in the seat but I feel like any case dealing with material fraud would be really interesting - FBG right now (LAZ RX) and FTX more notably (PWP RX). Piper Sandler also on a pretty cool case winding down Terraform Labs’ bankruptcy trust

Nothing beats large, transformative tech deals so my bet would be on one of the top tech groups in the West Coast

GS TMT SF is it. MSFT / Activision, Google / Wiz, EA take-private, and I think theyre doing SpaceX too

This - wheter it is Qatalyst (large-cap tech sell-sides), GS TMT SF, or MS Menlo. These disproportionately take the best dealflow in tech. Similar to how CVP is taking the lead in healthcare deals
