Growth and Exit Opportunities: Real Estate Sales at a Middle Market Investment Bank
I recently joined a team at a middle-market investment bank (reputation as sweaty but solid deal flow) that structures sale-leaseback transactions as part of the run-up to selling to the associated business.
I really think this role and the team will work long-term for me (solid pay, good hours, and fun people), but anything can happen and I want to be proactive in positioning myself for an exit if I decide to leave after 2 or 3 years. Given my personal circumstances (25, already at six figures, significant prior job-hopping) I think my best move (if I left) would be to go get an MBA from a top ~20-40 school. All thoughts on my marketability to MBA programs and employers as well as viable exit ops suggestions are appreciated.
Additionally, for those working in IB, please let me know how to position myself to learn as much as possible from the IB team.
