I think that process closed already no? The superday was Jan 25th.
It is open as of right now. I think they are doing this thing where they open it and they close it and they open it again. It is open right now but it was closed 4-5 days ago. And like 7-8 days ago it was open.
They don’t read them, put some BS down and call it a day.
How do you know they don't read them
Because I could have been interviewing you 3 years ago, and there are way way way too many people trying to get a job to actually read the cover letters.

anyways dont sweat a CL. It literally doesnt matter. just dont have spelling mistakes or any obvious embarassing errors such as addressing the wrong person or referring to a different role or company
What matters then?
1. Networking. Should have talked to a ton of people in the team before
2. School prestige and GPA
3. Prior finance/accounting internship experience
