GS FT question
How hard is it to apply for Full-time at goldman sachs as a sa from another bb (think citi/boa/barclays). Are there normally fulltime spots at gs in good/decent group?

An alum recently did just that and FT recruited into GS IBD, but they came from a buy-side internship not a mid tier BB.
As an incoming GS IBD SA, I’ve heard that the firm is great about internal laterals so my guess is that most of those spots will be broadcasted internally first and then it opens up to external people trying to FT recruit.
I’ll never say don’t try, but temper your expectations.
